ABOUT CIA PARKER

The name Cole House comes from fond childhood memories of when my father coached high school basketball and took his team to the Cole Field House at College Park. My brother was born that year and Cole became his middle name.

I have worked as a licensed psychologist over the past ten years with a variety of clients and populations, including seniors, adults, adolescents, and first responders. I have specialized in geriatrics for over ten years and offer consultation, assessment and follow-up appointments for cognitive impairment, dementia, sleep disorders and mood and behavioral symptoms. This line of work exposed me to the negative impact of stress on one's mind and body and how nutrition plays a critical role in wellness.  Parker Psychological Services expanded to The Cole House in April 2018 after I began preparing meals and balancing nutrients for a friend.

YOGA

Yoga became an interest of mine after I incurred several injuries that could have been prevented with increased strength, flexibility and body awareness. Yoga offers grounding, flexibility, strength and power, while at the same time it provides centering, focus, and relaxation; rejuvenation for the soul.
